The study aimed to determine the most effective implementation of the Picture Word Inductive Model (PWIM) for enhancing students' descriptive writing skills. The research employed the method of classroom action research and was conducted over two cycles, following the steps of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study's findings revealed that the researcher utilized the PWIM approach in the first cycle to teach writing descriptive text. However, the students still faced challenges selecting appropriate and formed vocabulary words. Although the minimum mastery criteria were attained, the average score did not meet the success criteria 80. On the other hand, the second cycle showed significant improvements. The students' achievement in writing descriptive text increased, their engagement levels were higher, and all students attained an average score 80. They displayed increased attentiveness to the teacher's explanations, and the scores on the final test showed nearly perfect improvement. Consequently, it can be concluded that implementing the Picture Word Inductive Model (PWIM) effectively enhances students' descriptive writing skills.
