DEVELOPING BIINGUAL PROMOTIONAL MEDIA THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA FORDESA WISATA TULUSBESAR

Promotional media are a platform for business owners to introduce their products or services. It is certainly important for business actors to have. However, in reality, there are still business actors who do not have this promotional media, one of which is the Tulusbesar Tourism Village. Based on the preliminary study, the village lacks of human resources and promotion. Tulusbesar Village has several potential destinations and is often visited by foreign tourists who want to experience the original culture of Malang, consequently, bilingual promotional media is needed. Therefore, this study aims to develop promotional media through Instagram and Tiktok for Desa Wisata Tulusbesar. In the current study, the researcher used the Design and Development Research method. This method consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Expert Validation, and Evaluation. For data collection, the researcher conducted observations, interviews, and surveys using questionnaires. At the analysis stage, the researchers identified the potential for cultural tourism that can attract both local and international tourists. However, they also found that Tulusbesar village lacks specific promotional media. The results of this research include social media content, promotional and introduction videos, and posters. Expert validation and evaluation indicated that the product is ready to be implemented in field testing. The field-testing result got positive feedback from respondents. In addition, the researcher had revised the product based on suggestions in field testing. Finally, the product is ready to publish on social media of Desa Tulubesar. The researcher hopes the promotional media will be useful for a wide audience, especially for Tulusbesar.
