Abstract

Kumaila Bana Nahdliya. Developing a Bilingual Booklet of Cempaka Batik MSME in Bejijong Village. A Thesis Report. Business Administration Department. State Polytechnic of Malang. July 2024. Cempaka Batik is one of the MSMEs which produced various batik products in Bejijong Village. Cempaka Batik is often invited to local and international exhibition events. Due to its potential, the owner of Cempaka Batik has a plan to export their product aboard. However, there is still a lack of the medium in supporting the Cempaka Batik to better market their product to the local or international customers. Therefore, the researcher created a bilingual booklet as the promotional medium that can be accessed online and offline expected to gain insight and reach a wider customers. The developing process of the bilingual booklet provided DDR (Design and Development Research), with ADDIE as the research procedure which consist of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The equipment in this research was questionnaire, expert validation, and field testing. The research final result is a bilingual booklet of Cempaka Batik consisting of 98 pages. The booklet includes information about the business, the owner, batik in general, and specific product information. The languages used are Indonesia and English. The respondents agreed that the booklet is useful to persuade potential customers. The booklet development is able to promote the business better.
