DEVELOPING WEB-BASED INFORMATION CENTER FOR CANDI PETIRTAAN JOLOTUNDO

A website is a tool in the internet world that provides business-related information such as company details, contact information, and information about the products or services offered by a company. Website as a platform for providing information and a place for promotion. With a website, it can be used to develop existing tourism centers. However, currently many tourism objects do not use and utilize websites to develop their business. This research aims to provide an I nformation-based website for tourist visitors. In compiling this product, the researcher used the theory from Richey and Klein (2007) with Design Development Research, which has five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research produces a product in the form of a bilingual website which contained valid information regarding historical details, year of discovery, meaning of sculptures, entrance ticket prices, facilities available and exploring the culture owned. After the product was developed, the researchers carried out field testing by inviting 25 respondents. Based on the results of field testing, 80% of respondents strongly agree that this website has an attractive design and 60% strongly agree that this website contained information that is easy to understand. Based on the implementation carried out by expert validation and evaluation stages, bilingual product websites can be used. To summarize, that this research can be useful and can be used as well as possible by many parties.
