DEVELOPING PROMOTIONAL VIDEOS ON INSTAGRAM AND TIKTOK FOR OMAHWETAN HOMESTAY

In today's digital age, promotional videos play a pivotal role in enhancing visibility, capturing audience interest, and ultimately driving bookings. Effective promotional strategies are crucial for the hospitality industry, including Omah Wetan Homestay, which faces challenges in increasing its visibility and attracting both local and international tourists. This need for promotion arises from the homestay's current underutilization of digital marketing tools to reach its target audience effectively. The purpose of this research was to develop customized promotional videos for Omah Wetan Homestay. These videos were designed to showcase the unique facilities and cultural experiences offered by the homestay and create a compelling narrative that resonates with potential guests. Using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the research involved analysis, including surveys and interviews with stakeholders to identify gaps in current promotional efforts. The insights gathered are then used to create interesting video content containing information about Omah Wetan Homestay. Evaluation metrics focused on measuring the effectiveness of the video content from the viewer's perspective. The findings from this study imply that well-made promotional videos can significantly assist local and foreign tourists in accessing important information about Omah Wetan Homestay. By providing visually appealing and informative content, these videos enhance the homestay's appeal and ensure that potential guests have a comprehensive understanding of its offerings. The impact of effective promotional videos in the accommodation industry, particularly for homestays, demonstrates how visibility and appeal can be increased to convey the identity of establishments like Omah Wetan Homestay to a broader audience.
