Abstract

Deshin Handmade is a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) operating in the craft sector. The business focuses on handmade bags made from unique materials such as cork fabric. Throughout its operations, Deshin Handmade has encountered challenges in conveying brand information to customers, especially global customers, during exhibitions. Therefore, this research was conducted to address this business challenge by developing a digital information platform in the form of an easily accessible bilingual website. This research employed the Design and Development Research (DDR) method with the aim of developing a bilingual website. The ADDIE model was used for the research stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection in this study included observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The result of this research is a website with bilingual features in both Indonesian and English. The website has five pages: Home, Our Journey, Catalogue, Articles, and FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions). The website's content consists of written text and visuals in the form of videos and images. The website features two videos located on the Home and Articles pages. Written content is focused on the Our Journey and Articles pages. The catalogue page provides interactive product images and detailed product specifications. The research findings can specifically benefit the Deshin Handmade MSME in reaching a wider audience, both locally and globally. This research is also expected to provide useful solutions and references for future researchers.
